Over the years we have tried several different fabric hardeners and hardening techniques for fabric sculpting. It's not surprising that we've found that some are better than others. Glass Window Art

Another medium that lends itself to stunning garden art is:  Glass Fusion.  When colourful cut glass and glass beads are bonded to old sash windows, the artistic possibilities are infinite.  Happily, we've a good neighbour 'Christine' who shares her passion and her intimate knowledge of this clever art-form.  Check out Christine's Website at http://glasswindowart.ca  Her workshops are fun; the surroundings, enchanting!

Bed & Breakfast

Sometimes in exchange for product or a Garden Spirits Workshop, we've received opportunity to stay at Bed 'n Breakfasts in the area.   Recently we stayed at Gite Angell, a gorgeous B & B on Isle Perrot, just south of Montreal.  Located on the south shore (right on the water!) of Lake St-Louis, Gite Angell has been beautifully renovated by Nicole Angell, grand-daughter of the original owner of the 150-year old farm house.  Breakfasts are sumptuous and the house is very very cozy. 

Anyone enjoying early Canadian history would love to explore this richly diverse area.. and we'd suggest Gite Angell as a perfect starting point.
